Blake sat on the couch staring at his open laptop. He was trying to make up some flyers for the bands gig tomorrow night, he was having total writers block and could definatly use a fresh baked snack. "God am I bored, not cool brah!" He shouted his face as disinterested as ever.

Emma sat in her dark basement alone with her game systems. She threw her remote across the room in anger after her player was attacked by zombies and died. After cursing about losing, she switched the game disc to start something new.

[Hachi]

"EMMAAAAA!" Blake Called from the couch not moving. "I'm hungry! Let's bake something! And also I'm bored....."

"NO!" Emma yelled back up. After playing for a few more minutes she paused her game and stood up, "Actually yes" she said to herself and walked upstairs. when she walked out of the basement doors she had to shield her eyes from how bright the sun made her house. she walked to see Blake, "What are we baking?" she asked peeking her head into the room.

"Hmmm...." Blake thought for a minute. "Muffins? Chocolate chip?" He asks closing his laptop and puttin it on the couch. He got up and hugged Emma, facial expressions unchanging with the embrace.

"Okay.." Emma answered wraping her arms around Blake, also facial features staying neutral. "Do we have ingedients?" she asked lifting her head up to look at Blakes face

[Hachi]

"I would assume so...." Blake tilted his head. "Baking powder, flower, sugar, butter, chocolate chips... Do we need anything else?" He looked down at her slightly looking puzzled.

Emma thought for a moment, "I don't believe so.." she responded still staring up at Blake in embrace

"Good let's get started then." Blake Picked Emma off her feet and carried her into he kitchen, where he placed her down. "Where are our aprons?"

Emma walked over to a a big cabinet and opened it, hanging on the inside were two aprons, she tossed one over to Blake and tied the other one around her, "Here" she said as she did so.

[Hachi]

"Oh good let's get started thn...." Blake said as he slipped on the apron. He began to get out some of the ingredients. "Get the bowls?"

"Of course" Emma said quietly as she opened up the cupboard and pulled out two big bowls. "Will we share our baked goods with the neighbors?" she asked after setting them on the counter. "Or just eat them all ourselves?" she added

[Hachi]

"Well the neighbors might be hungry too... Let's make two trays!" Blake suggests with a slight smirk. His stomach growls a little. "Lets get started!" He suggests starting
to measureing some flour.

"Okaayy" Emma said in a monotone voice. She started to crack eggs, and do other things to make the mix.

Blake opened a drawer and took out two rubber spatulas. He handed one to Emma and began to mix the ingredients, adding a few more things in as he went. “I wonder how our neighbors are today...”

Emma started mixing the ingredients, "We'll see when we drop off these for them" she said gesturing towards the mix.

[Hachi]

“Yeah I guess.... Man am I hungry... I forgot to eat breakfast again because I woke up at eleven...” Blake sighed, tasting some of the mix with his finger, and then pouring in more sugar.

"Oh.. I couldn't sleep so I went downstairs and played video games until you called me to bake.. I didn't realize how much time passed by" Emma said while copying Blake and taking a taste of the batter.

[Hachi]

“Did you sleep at all? Or were you up all night?” Blake sounded concerned even if he didn't look it. He took out the baking trays and pam from under the counter and set them out.

"I slept... a little" Emma was lied, she was a very bad liar though. after a minute of silence she spoke up, "Like for a half hour" she admitted quietly.

[Hachi]

Blake wrapped his arm around her neck and leaned his head on hers. “You really need to get on a better schedule... Its a wonder you can stay up this long..."

Emma looked down at the floor, "I know.." she replied to both his comments. She lifted her eyes to look at Blakes face "I try to get back on track, but it doesnt work..." she said

Blake looked at her and thought. “I got it! Tonight your going to come lie in bed with me and we’ll watch a movie and then read and if you still cant fall asleep we’ll talk until you do... And we can keep doing that until we can get you to fall asleep every night.” Blake thought his plan was wonderful. “And no caffeine during and after dinner okay?"

"Uhh.. fine.. I guess" Emma replied alittle dissapointed that there'd be no gaming or sugar tonight.
